The parts, operating systems, electronic components, electrical components, mechanical components, and all items (hereinafter referred to as items) marketed by the owner(s) (hereinafter referred to as seller) of the website (hereinafter referred to as Piratamotor), are intended exclusively for competition use. Therefore, they are not designed or required to comply with many current regulations and are not intended for the end user. All items require installation, adjustments, machining, and other work that must be performed by an experienced professional. Many of the products available on Piratamotor, including those sold under the designation Megasquirt, its derivatives, and accessories, even when specified for a specific application, are not commercial products. They are DIY and handmade products customized at the client's request.
Compatibility
RACING IS A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY, AND BUYERS ASSUME THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MODIFICATIONS MADE WITH PURCHASED ITEMS. The seller does not guarantee that its products can reduce or eliminate any risk. Items ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON PUBLIC ROADS, HIGHWAYS, OR AIRCRAFT and are intended SOLELY for racing vehicles operated on closed-circuit facilities or race tracks, always under the supervision of qualified technicians or mechanics, who must ensure the safety needs of the driver and others. Items may be combined with other components that may not be compatible, potentially negatively impacting the performance of other parts or the vehicle. The final suitability and safety of the item for its intended use shall be determined exclusively by the user, who assumes all associated responsibility and risk.
Liability
The seller declines all responsibility, explicit or implicit, for the use made by the client of the items, as well as for any installation, modification, alteration of the items, or possible mechanical, electrical, or other failures derived from their use. The client acknowledges that the items are not designed for use on public roads nor comply with many applicable regulations. Furthermore, the client is responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, rules, and restrictions imposed by the relevant governmental authorities.
THE SELLER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, including, but not limited to, personal injuries, loss of life, damage to property or equipment, loss of data, profits, income, or claims from any individual or entity arising from the use of any item sold, whether due to breach of contract, tort, or other causes. WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE FOREGOING, IN NO CASE WILL THE TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE CLIENT TO THE SELLER.
Price Lists
The prices shown on the Piratamotor website are valid except for typographical errors or currency exchange changes. All prices are displayed without taxes. Applicable taxes, including the current VAT or other taxes relevant to the region or country, will be calculated upon entering the shipping and billing address.

For operations in the Canary Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla, VAT will not be added. However, shipping will be handled with an export DUA, and the user will be responsible for paying the processing fees and any applicable destination taxes.

For intra-community operations exempt from VAT, the client must provide a valid tax identification number in the billing details. Exemption will only apply if this number is verified and valid.

For international operations outside the European Community, prices will exclude taxes, but shipping will be handled with an export DUA. The user will be responsible for the processing fees and destination taxes.
In general, by completing the purchase, the client agrees to pay the taxes and fees generated at the destination. Piratamotor reserves the right to review and modify its prices at any time if conditions so require.
Warranty
Items sold on Piratamotor are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to items that have been installed or used incorrectly, modified, handled by third parties, or damaged or deteriorated by external factors. The provided warranty constitutes the complete coverage available. The seller assumes no responsibility, whether towards the buyer or third parties, for losses, damages, or injuries derived from the use of items or any defect, whether general, special, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive. Furthermore, the seller specifically disclaims any other warranty, explicit or implicit, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Modifications
Piratamotor reserves the right to modify the services offered on its website at any time.
How to Buy
Below is the purchasing process in the Piratamotor online store and the steps to follow:

Sales Conditions
The client declares to know and accept, without reservations, the particular sales conditions indicated on the Piratamotor website when placing an order. The confirmation of the order implies full acceptance of these conditions.
Jurisdiction
The client waives any other jurisdiction and submits to the courts and tribunals of Sagunto (Valencia).
