K1 Technologies produces high quality connecting rods and crankshafts at very affordable prices. Their connecting rods and crankshafts are a step above the common imported connecting rod. They create their own designs and are subject to some of the tightest tolerances allowed in the racing industry, showing more attention to finish than other similar products.
A wide variety of applications are available, from small block compact sports cars to Chevy and Mopar big blocks, including some custom sizes. Their unique connecting rod design, which is original to the K1 Technologies line, reduces weight without sacrificing strength.
4340 steel is used for the manufacture of all their connecting rods and crankshafts. They use ARP 2000 bolts as standard and 625+ bolts available as an option. Big end and small end tolerances are +/-0.0001" (0.0025mm).
Crankshafts are core hardened for increased tensile strength and fatigue resistance. Bearing surfaces are polished and nitrided for increased wear resistance. All crankshafts and rods are 100% magnetic particle inspected for cracks or defects.
