Shipping Policies

Shipping and Delivery Times In-stock items:

  • Shipments are made within 1 to 3 business days after payment is received.

Approximate delivery times:

  • Mainland Spain: 2 to 3 business days.

  • Balearic Islands: 3 to 4 business days.

  • Canary Islands: 5 to 6 business days.

  • Portugal: 3 to 4 business days.

  • Other destinations: Please contact us directly for details.

Exceptions to delivery times

  • Items on backorder: Dependent on the manufacturer's stock.

    • The estimated delivery date will be notified via email after the order is placed.

  • Custom-made items: Delivery times will be specified on a case-by-case basis.

Logistics Operators Orders will be shipped directly from piratamotor.com through our logistics operators.

Calculation of Shipping Costs Shipping costs are dynamically calculated based on the products in the shopping cart.

In the Event of Recipient Absence If no one is available at the delivery address:

  • A notice will be left with a contact phone number or email to coordinate the delivery.

  • The transport agency will store the package in their warehouse for 2 to 3 business days before initiating a return.

Claims for Damage or Loss It is essential to follow the steps outlined below for any claims related to damage or loss of products during transport:

Inspection at the time of delivery:

  • If you detect any damage to the package, follow these steps immediately:

    • In the presence of the delivery driver: The claim must be made while the delivery driver is present.

    • Delivery receipt: The issue must be noted on the transport agency's delivery receipt, which must be signed by the customer.

Notifying the issue:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the package by emailing: contacto@piratamotor.com.

Important:

  • If you sign the delivery receipt without noting any issues, the courier will assume that the package was delivered in perfect condition. In that case:

    • No subsequent claims will be accepted.

    • Responsibility will lie with the recipient of the package.

Recommendation for visible damage:

  • If you detect damage to the package, document the issue on the transport receipt.

After opening the package:

  • If the product is in good condition, no further action is required.

  • If the product is damaged, contact contacto@piratamotor.com to manage the claim with the courier.

Return Policy

1. Return Process To initiate a return, you must notify us within 7 business days of receiving the order, ensuring that the packaging is in optimal condition.

2. Returns for Non-defective Items If you wish to return a product in perfect condition:

  • Send it in its original packaging and in perfect condition.

  • Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

3. Exceptions to Returns Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Items on backorder: Unless there is a defect or manufacturing error, which must be reported to contacto@piratamotor.com.

  • Custom-made items: Except in cases of defect or manufacturing error.

  • Tampered packaging: For example, open seals, torn bags, damaged boxes, or dirty packaging.

  • Tampered items: Any product that has been altered or modified.

  • Special items: For items like Megasquirt engine management units, 20% of the sale price will be deducted from the refund.

4. Condition of Returned Products The customer must return the product:

  • In the same condition it was received.

  • With all accessories and intact packaging.

  • Inside a cardboard box.

Important:

  • Products with transport stickers or other items adhered to the original packaging will not be accepted.

5. Refunds

  • Only the price of the item, as listed on the invoice, will be refunded.

  • The following will not be refunded:

    • Shipping costs.

    • Payment-related fees.

    • Customs duties, external handling fees, or other additional costs.

6. Return Procedure

  • The customer must request a return code by emailing contacto@piratamotor.com.

  • This code must be visible on the package upon receipt.

Important:

  • Packages without the provided return code will not be accepted.

  • Packages sent freight collect will not be accepted.

7. Defective Products If the product received is defective:

For defective products:

  • Piratamotor.com will cover shipping costs related to the return. However, customs duties and handling fees are not included and must be covered by the customer.
  • The product may be repaired or replaced with an identical one, at the discretion of Piratamotor.com.
